The plateau is a reservoir of biodiversity that is unique in Europe, a true paradise of the plant and Animal Kingdom.

For history buffs, the territory is a huge open air museum, with signs and testimonies of the great war still perfectly readable, enhanced by thematic and information boards.

In winter, everything changes, the snow turns the playing field and it's time to snow shoes, skis and Fat Bike.

In summer the days seem to be too short by how much there is to do!

The Col del Sole Bike Hotel is located directly on the hiking trails that take you to Monte Cengio and home to an amazing Mule suspended or descend into wild and undeveloped Val d Assa. Several easy routes, suitable for families with children, meander on the sunny countryside of Conca, behind the Hotel. The cycle of old train just a few hundred metres and is the ideal way to learn about the plateau, its countries and its mountains, leaving behind the car. You don't want to fatigue? No problem, you will find one of our modern E-Bike.

Experience the magic of winter

Snow brings fairytale landscapes on the plateau and the most suitable tools to enjoy them are undoubtedly snowshoeing and cross country skiing.

Itineraries in summer exploits the dirt roads are passable in winter with snow, while the two bottom-Campolongo and chalet at Campomulo-are entrances to one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas in Europe where enthusiasts can slip silent admiring majestic mountains like Portule, CimaXII, Ortigara and Caldiera.
